侯立鹏是清华大学化学工程系2018级直博生,导师为张强教授,研究方向为高比能电池中固液界面电化学过程及调控。以高比能锂硫电池为代表体系,研究金属锂/电解液界面复杂电化学反应行为,调控多硫化物体系下溶剂化结构和固态电解质界面膜,实现金属锂负极保护,推进实用化体系下长循环锂硫电池发展。相关研究成果发表在Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.,Mater. Today,Chem等学术期刊。
报告摘要
The multielectron dissolution–precipitation redox conversion of sulfur basically affords the high specific energy of lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries. However, soluble Li polysulfides complicate the electrolyte structure and induce elusive interface chemistry of Li metal anodes. The instable Li metal anode induced by Li polysulfides hinders the long cycling of Li–S batteries. In this talk, the circuitous history of interface chemistry of Li metal anodes is revisited as an epitome of Li–S batteries. Challenges and promises of lithium metal anodes in practical Li–S batteries are analyzed. Our recent advances in electrolyte engineering, especially an encapsulating-Li polysulfide electrolyte design are included.
