寻找用科技改变世界的青年力量 | 《麻省理工科技评论》“35岁以下科技创新35人”亚太区报名正在进行
自 1999 年起，《麻省理工科技评论》每年都会进行 35 岁以下青年科技创新者的评选，共分为发明家、创业家、 远见者、人文关怀者及先锋者五个类别。此评选的目标是在全球范围内找出被认为极具才华、创新精神，以及极有可能改变世界的年轻技术创新者或企业家，以此给予他们应得的关注，肯定他们在技术领域的创新工作，并且激励他们继续在专业领域上取得更大的成就。
经过 20 余年的沉淀，《麻省理工科技评论》“35 岁以下科技创新 35 人（MIT Technology Review Innovators Under 35；简称“TR35”）已成为全球极具权威性的青年科技创新人才评价体系之一。曾经的入选者包括谷歌创始人 Larry Page 和 Sergey Brin、Facebook 创始人 Mark Zuckerberg 、苹果首席设计官 Jonathan Ive、基因技术 CRISPR 发明者张锋、前百度首席科学家吴恩达、Paypal 及 Slide 创始人 MaxLevchin 等。
当然，着眼于全球的同时，我们不能忘记，在每个国家，每个地区，也有这样一群年轻人在为其发展付出努力。为了让更多青年创新者被看到，TR35 于 2010 年开始了区域性评选。
其中，作为世界上文化最为多元的地区之一，亚太地区的经济正在持续快速发展，社会在不断地进步，其科技创新的力量不可小觑。2021 年，全新版亚太区“35 岁以下科技创新 35 人”在中国开启，希望借此发掘更多极具发展潜质的青年科技人才，将这群思维敏捷、灵感不断、极具创造力的科技青年推向多元化、全球化的舞台；同时，也让更多“引进来”和“走出去”的科技成果为亚太科技发展再续新章。
目前，《麻省理工科技评论》“35 岁以下科技创新 35 人” 2023 年亚太区报名正在进行，35 岁以下的亚太地区青年科学家、科研工作者、科技创业者均可参选。同时，我们也向社会各界征集候选人提名，希望您与我们一起为科技青年成长提供机会，共同推进亚太地区乃至全球范围的科技创新，极致拓展人类的认知边界，酝酿下一个“重塑世界”的可能。
参选资格
年龄要求是什么？参选者年龄须在 2023 年 1 月 1 日时不满 35 岁（即出生日期不早于 1988 年 1 月 1 日）。以身份证或护照文件上的年龄为准。
谁可以申请？亚太地区国家的公民或居民，包括但不限于中国（含港澳台）、文莱、菲律宾、印度尼西亚、日本、韩国、老挝、马来西亚、新西兰、澳大利亚、新加坡、泰国、越南等。
对学历有要求吗？TR35 Asia Pacific 对参选者的学历、职业不做特别要求。
对研究领域有限制吗？包括但不限于电子计算机与硬件、互联网与电子通信技术、软件技术、先进材料、生物医药、航空航天、能源、交通等。
评选材料
护照信息页扫描件；简历：英文简历 1 份，PDF 格式；个人创新工作陈述：英文 1 份，800 字左右；推荐信：英文推荐信不少于 2 封，800字左右。推荐信应阐释推荐人和参选者之间的关系，以及为什么认为参选者所做的工作很杰出，避免过于泛泛的描述。推荐信须有推荐人签名，可为扫描件或电子版。

Established in 1999 to celebrate the centennial anniversary of MIT Technology Review, over the years “Innovators Under 35” (TR35) has recognized a highly selected group of young innovators who hold the most promise of changing the world for the better. Since 2014, TR35 has been expanding its reach and influence in the Asia-Pacific region.
In particular, TR35 Asia Pacific searches for the most promising young innovators from the region, who are actively playing an influential role in cutting-edge science & technology fields such as biotechnology and medicine, computer and electronics hardware, software, internet, artificial intelligence, robotics, telecommunications, nanotechnology and materials, energy, transportation and engineering, etc. We’re also interested in adding more geographic and cultural diversity and dynamics to the list, as well as strongly encouraging women professionals to apply.
Candidate Qualification
What's the age requirements?Candidates must be under the age of 35 (birth date before January 1st, 1988).
Who can apply?Citizens or residents from countries Asia-Pacific wide, including but not limited to China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan), Brunei, Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Laos, Malaysia, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Any restriction on academic qualifications?No special requirements for candidates' academic qualifications and occupations.
Any restriction on the research fields?The research fields include but are not limited to the following professional fields: computer and hardware, Internet and electronic communication technology, software technology, advanced materials, biomedicine, aerospace, energy, transportation, etc.
Application Materials
Scanned copy of passport information page;Resume: An English resume in PDF format.Personal work statement: An English statement in PDF format, about 800 words.Reference letters: No less than two letters in English, about 800 words. The reference letter should explain the relationship between the referee and the candidate, and why the candidate is considered to have done an outstanding job. The reference letter must be signed by the referee and it can be scanned.
